Your roof took the storm.Let me take the claim.
I'm Mark Larson. I document the damage, stand with your adjuster on the roof, and manage the rebuild — so the insurance process stops being your problem and starts being mine.

Why this matters
Insurance pays for what can be proven — nothing more.
Most storm damage is invisible from the ground. Bruised shingles, fractured mats, lifted ridge caps and compromised flashing all shorten the life of a roof long before a leak shows up on your ceiling.
An adjuster is on a schedule and may see a dozen homes in a day. What gets approved is what gets documented and defended well — which is why having someone on the roof with them changes the outcome.
My job is to make sure the damage is found, recorded and explained clearly enough that your policy does what you have been paying it to do.
The claim process
Six steps. You always know where we are.
Nothing here is a surprise, and nothing happens without your approval first.
- 01
Complimentary Inspection
I walk the roof, the gutters, the flashing and the interior. You get a clear read on what the storm actually did — whether or not there is a claim worth filing.
- 02
Damage Documentation
Photos, measurements and a written report built to the standard your carrier expects. Nothing is left to interpretation later.
- 03
Filing the Claim
You call your carrier to open the claim. I prepare the evidence package and tell you exactly what to say and what not to say.
- 04
Meeting the Adjuster
I stand on the roof next to the adjuster and walk the damage line by line, so the approved scope reflects the real repair — not a guess from the driveway.
- 05
Scope & Supplements
If the carrier's scope misses code items or hidden damage, I file a supplement with documentation. This is where most homeowners leave money behind.
- 06
Build & Final Walkthrough
A small, careful crew does the work. You get daily updates and a final walkthrough before the last dollar changes hands.
The standard I hold
Three things I will not compromise.
Quality
I study building science and apply it. Materials are chosen for how they age and how they perform in Central Texas heat and hail — not for what pencils out cheapest.
Communication
Most problems between a homeowner and a contractor are communication failures. You will always know where we are, what is next, and what it costs.
Integrity
People before profits. If your roof does not need replacing, I will tell you so in writing. I would rather have the relationship than the one job.
Straight answers
What homeowners ask me first.
- Will filing a claim raise my premium?
- A storm claim is an act-of-nature loss, which carriers treat differently from an at-fault claim. Rates are typically adjusted area-wide after a storm event, whether or not you file. I will walk you through your specific policy before you decide.
- What does the inspection cost?
- Nothing. The inspection and the written assessment are complimentary, with no obligation and no pressure to file.
- What if my claim is denied?
- A denial is not always the end. With proper documentation a claim can be reinspected or supplemented. That is exactly why the documentation step matters so much.
- Do you work on older and historic homes?
- Yes — that is much of what I do. Older homes have detail work, framing conditions and material matching that a volume roofer is not set up to handle.
Complimentary inspection
Let's get eyes on your roof.
Share a few details and I'll save them, then you'll pick a time on my calendar. The inspection is complimentary — if your roof is fine, I'll tell you that too.
